HASSE--ALCIDE AL BIVIO An OperaRepo Production Saturday, April 4, 8 PM Sunday, April 5, 7 PM The Italian Academy at Columbia University Charites joins forces with OperaRepo and the Columbia Collegium Musicum to stage Johann Adolf Hasse's and Pietro Metastasio's festive 1760 opera, Alcide al bivio, an allegorical battle between Virtue and Pleasure. With tenor Sean Parr, conductor Mark Seto, and artistic director Sarah Meyers of the Metropolitan Opera.
